Precalculus is the study of the mathematical prerequisites for calculus. The course at Veritas covers, but is not limited to, polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, composite and inverse functions, function transformations, trigonometry, and analytical geometry including conic sections. Veritas instructors have over fifteen year experience in teaching precalculus courses
AP Calculus AB mainly covers limits, derivatives, and integrals. The course also includes the application of differentiation and integration, such as related rates, optimization, rectilinear motion, area, and volume.
AP Calculus BC covers all AP Calculus AB topics plus additional topics including more integration techniques such as integration by parts, Taylor series, parametric equations, polar coordinate functions, and curve interpolations. Veritas instructors have over fifteen year experience in teaching AP Calculus courses.
